Chatham Moving has built its reputation on providing high-quality moving and packing services to Morris Township, Mendham, Morristown, Summit, Millburn, Short Hills and the surrounding areas for over 100 years. We remain one of the few companies that does not subcontract labor or services on their moves. We are available for moves from Monday through Friday. Pre-move packing and home organization is also available!
Full-Time, Uniformed Crew Members
All of our workers are covered under workmen's compensation. They participate in our company medical plan and profit sharing plan. We do not hire labor force personnel or street corner pickups; all of our workers are hired employees.
Company-Owned Vehicles
All of our vehicles are fully equipped with blankets, shrink wrap, protection for floors and carpets, and all of the necessary equipment required for moving. We have a variety of sizes within our truck fleet, and all of our trucks are painted in our traditional colors of blue, black, and white.
Packing & Crating Services
We offer complete packing and crating services prior to moving, performed by our full-time employees. Whether you need a few small items packed with care or an entire house prepared for a move, we can help. Have an unusual object? Our in-house shop produces custom crates and packing.
Complete & Accurate Estimates
We provide written estimates with all inventory provided. We include information on consumer protection as well as valuation coverage. We can include recent referrals. Trust Chatham Moving & Storage with all of your moving needs.
Long Distance Services
Long distance moves within 500 miles of Chatham are available. All of our long distance moves are with our men and trucks; we do not interline with van line companies. We do not sub-contract our services. We offer binding estimates so that there are no cost surprises during your move.
